In our world today, you hear people complain of loneliness, boredom, depression, stress, especially the youths.
People no longer feel at ease with one another, what with stories like betrayals from close friends and families.
People now seek validation from strangers on social media, it’s alarming the rate at which we do crazy things just to be relevant to people on and offline.
What does this tell you?
It means we need help, we need guidance, we need the comfort and fellowship of the Holy spirit.
It may seem like our lives do not reflect the presence of God because of the troubles we face each day. But do you know something, this is the time to seek him most.
The only true friend you can rely on, the only enduring friend, the only one who has shown that our lives are so important to him enough to sacrifice his own.
Truly, never a friend like Jesus.
“Come unto me, those who are weary and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28)
In the dark, he is there. In the far recesses of your heart, he is with you. And when you walk in the field, in wide open spaces, he is with you…Always! (Psalm 139, Psalm 18)
