Talking To The Wall

You are looking at your friends

Sharing your day

You wonder how the future will be

And you are excited

You talk about everything because you have an opinion on everything

Your friends think you are the coolest person ever

Your colleagues are amused by you, there is never a dull moment when you are around

You are laughing, riding on the high of a fantasy

You are the star

It’s all you, no one comes close!

You miss your line and begin again

You look at the wall where all your friends are cheering you on

Waiting with bated breaths for your next words

Your words echo in your empty room

Where only your laughter can be heard.
