Inside Out

I love you. I know I don’t say that often but it’s true. You mean a lot to me and these past few months have been easier because of you.

What did you think of the small note I tucked in your briefcase? I tried to imagine your face as you read my light poetry; your eyes lighting up, your dimples popping, and those pearly whites that you take such good care of completing your perfect smile.

I love you so much, my heart is near to bursting. I’ve never been this happy until you came along. Now don’t get me wrong, I was comfortable, warm and didn’t know I was missing out on anything, but you came and turned me inside out; wrecked, needy, happy.

You showed me there was more to life than what I previously had, and I don’t want to make do anymore. I’m taking this leap with you, going all in. My heart is yours for as long as you’ll have it…

Love, A.
